Pushing Boundaries of Fashion Through Theory, Practice, and Discovery.

graduate research

Graduate research in The Fashion Archive challenges traditional frameworks and advances new modes of thinking about fashion. Through original, theory-driven inquiry and hands-on engagement with dress and objects, graduate students explore the complex intersections of fashion with culture, identity, materiality, and innovation. Whether through critical writing, creative scholarship, or technological experimentation, their work contributes to the evolving discourse of fashion studies – positioning the archive as both a site of rigorous research and a catalyst for discovery across disciplines.
